Hello all,

Another update about my fan film, Legacy. We will be launching our indiegogo campaign soon to raise the money to even make this vision possible. Without dedicated fans like you who supported me throughout my journey of novelising Twilight Princess, I won't be able to make this film truly come alive.

Its story follows the Defeated Hero Timeline, an alternate take on the events of Ocarina. It is a heartwarming yet gut wrenching tale that will uplift the spirit and ask that you Remember Their Courage. The fan film that truly honours the heart of this series.

The online fundraiser is going to showcase some cool perks, like posters, Behind the scenes access, early access to viewing the FREE film, cool coasters, and even ....... a HARD COPY of Part One of my Twilight Princess novel, bound by yours truly.

At $25 you will receive behind the scenes access, access to view the film the day after it premieres in Cincinnati, and a thank you on our website, forever immortalising your support to this film. If hundreds of people could donate even this small amount, we would be able to reach our goal.

More about backer rewards when the campaign launches.

Also be on the lookout for an exciting live stream Launch Day Event featuring my three leads and myself.

Our campaign launches March 8th! Thank you, and I hope I can count on your support (if even to spread the word!).

My group Bleeding Edge Productions is seeking creative individuals interested in working on our Legend of Zelda fan film this summer. Shooting dates are tentatively set for a range between June and August. We are seeking hard workers and collaborators for the pre-production process, filming, and on into the post-production phase. We are especially seeking the services of talented costumers and Visual Effects people. Please message the Bleeding Edge team here at our Facebook if you are interested in this project. No story details will be released at this time. We are seeking crew at this time. Casting notices will be posted when we get to that stage of pre-production. However, please understand that our Link and Zelda characters have already been cast in-house. Thank you, and we look forward to meeting and working with more passionate individuals!

We shoot in the Ohio area. If you cannot work locally but still want to contribute, a props list will be made public as well as an online funding campaign. You can donate props or money (or loan props ^_^ ) for this very special Zelda film.

Hello, guys!  I am currently seeking help for a short film I am gearing up to direct this coming year!

I am seeking a digital artist, speedpaint or other, good with landscapes and people, to help create some images to aid in the promotional phase of the film.  To begin fundraising, I need a lot of components, and art is one that I prefer to have, which gives investors an idea of the direction of the film.  Things just sell better when they have pictures, hahaha.

The position would start immediately.  If interested, after the promotional phase is over, and you're a great, hard worker, there's totally room for possibility to keep you on board for concept art for the remainder of the film, and potentially, creating the poster/promo art after the film is finished and ready to hit the festival market.

Please comment or message if interested.  I know there are a bunch of my Zelda fans out there who are amazing artists; I'd love to work with you!

Cheers,
^_^

So, I hadn't checked my mail yesterday, and when I opened it up, out popped a New York address.  I stood frozen there for a least a full minute without breathing, before I went back inside.  This was a few hours ago this morning, and I still have yet to open it. The letter from the publisher that has decided Link's fate......

As soon as I stop wavering every time I pick up the letter, I will disclose the news. I don't mean to keep you waiting....

After 9 months, an answer has finally come.

UPDATE

I just realised that while I updated my Facebook with the news late last night, I forgot to post here. Sorry to keep you waiting longer. Below is what I wrote on my FB last night:

"So, the answer from the publisher. I actually opened it this afternoon, but was out all day and needed to release before I faced posting it.

It was rejected. Ho ho, but that's not the cruel part. They sent back my second letter, requesting an update, and scribbled on the bottom was "Rejection sent Jan 7th. Sorry!"

I was expecting a "No," I really was because of the situation I'm in. I had a little bit of hope that maaaaybe it would be different, but as I suspected a "No." Since they only had it two months before rejecting it, I'm actually doubting that anyone read the length of it. It makes me wonder if they read the cover letter and decided based on that. I know how this business works.

Anyway, the unfortunate news is that for the time being I am not resending it to anymore publishers. I have a lot going on right now, and my schedule isn't really clear until next year. Zelda is getting shelved for the moment, but only publishing plans are being shelved. The novel is as alive as it ever was and gaining more and more readers as time continues on. My hope is that my filmmaking career will soon allow me a name with some cred, which I can use to pester Nintendo themselves.

Even with this starting my day, I had an amazing day. Free movie, sitting in a bookstore, and lounging by the riverside until the spectacular summer Cincinnati fireworks started.

Sorry to have kept fans waiting."

So, it's another NO, but Link lives on with you.
Thank you.
